This tournament is held annually to honor the memory of Nick Phillips #30 and to raise awareness and crucial funds to help support our mission. The 30 in our name is for Nick, and PG holds two meanings: one, standing for Personal Guidance which we hope to help be a part of providing for our community, and two, for "Perfect Grade" which was a level of model Gundam figures that Nick loved putting together and creating.

Nick Phillips passed away on May 24th 2021 at the age of 21. His goal everyday was to make sure your day ended better then it started. Unfortunately, while he was trying to make everyone’s day better, he was battling his own personal demons that he finally succumbed to. Because of Nick we have come together to form PG30 to continue the legacy he left behind. We are constantly in awe of the support and connections we get to receive and be a part of, and we can't wait to be together for another great tournament weekend!
